Welcome to the Praetor Education Technology Website. If you are interested in using technology to enrich your teaching, you have come to the right site. That is what we are also passionate about. The resources on this site are focused on South African teachers.
Technology is evolving all the time and teachers need to adapt and learn to harness the power of the available technology in order to make their teaching a richer and more satisfying experience for themselves and their learners. Why invent the wheel all over again when it is there and ready to be used? We hope to share some of the available resources here on this site. You can also play a role in improving this site by providing helpful, upbuilding criticism and suggestions.

Tablet PC's should be any teacher's tool of
choice.
A PC is a tool that no teacher can do
without today. The fact that you are reading this article is also proof of
that. Just about any task that a teacher has to fulfil has some ICT component
in it. Word Processing for designing assessment tasks and explanatory notes,
Spreadsheets for calculation of marks, Graphics Presentation packages for
presenting lessons, Internet Browsers for doing research and downloading resources
from the Internet - just to mention a few applications.

Dear Colleagues
Praetor Education Technology has been updated somewhat recently. In fact if you knew the old site, it is being revamped completely. Hopefully it will be even more useful to teachers than in the past. I hope you like the new look! We have also started adding some meat to the bones.
The site should be much more interactive. When you log in you will see a User Menu to the left with a few important items:
- Your Details
- Submit Content
- Submit Weblink
- Check-In My Items
- Logout
